Steven L. Franks (Ph.D. Cornell, 1985) <franks@indiana.edu> is Professor and Chair of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Indiana University-Bloomington. He holds a joint appointment with the Department of Linguistics and serves as Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Slavic Linguistics. His publications include Parameters of Slavic Morphosyntax (1995) and, together with Tracy King, A Handbook of Slavic Clitics (2000), as well as numerous articles in conference proceedings, edited volumes, and refereed journals. His current research is on spell-out and the syntax-PF interface.
